The Apprentice Producers Settle Lawsuit 5/24/06

Producers of American reality TV show The Apprentice have settled a lawsuit alleging the premise for the program was lifted from an idea for a show called CEO.

Mark Bethea sued The Apprentice creator/producer Mark Burnett in Los Angeles Superior Court, and launched a secondary action against TV network NBC Universal and the show's star Donald Trump.

Both cases were settled over the weekend (20-21MAY06) according to Bethea's lawyer Ronald Makarem.
