Denzel Washington Interested in Church Building Home 5/24/06

Denzel Washington is looking to buy an exclusive apartment in a former New York church. The actor has been spotted visiting the former Washington Square Methodist Church, in Manhattan, which is being converted into eight spacious homes, according to society magazine Gotham.

The property is now listed as the Novare Building and each condo features high-beamed ceilings, three bathrooms and original stained glass from the place's church days.
