Angelina Jolie Gives Birth to Baby Girl  5/28/06

Angelina Jolie has given birth to a daughter named Shiloh Nouvel Pitt-Jolie.

The baby was born yesterday (27MAY06) evening in Namibia, where Jolie and partner Brad Pitt have been hiding out for the past few months.

The couple's publicist Cindy Guagenti reveals, "The night of May 27, 2006 in Namibia, Africa, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt welcomed their daughter Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. No further information is being given."

Shiloh Nouvel is the couple's first biological child and a sister to adopted children Maddox, four and 16-month-old Zahara.
