Audiences will have the chance to rewind and revisit the sizzling fifth season of 24 this summer with back-to-back episodes airing Fridays beginning June 16. The day of terror re-starts with “Day 5: 7:00 AM-8:00 AM” (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and “Day 5: 8:00 AM-9:00 AM” (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) Friday, June 16 on FOX.

24’s critically celebrated season five features Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) and CTU operatives navigating through an intense and terrifying day as the breathtaking series took some of its sharpest turns. Storylines included a Presidential assassination, the threatened release of military-grade nerve gas, a corrupt and oil-thirsty President and a submarine missile attack.

24 is No. 1 in its time period in key demos and has surged in ratings throughout the season, out-pacing last year's performance by an impressive +12% among Adults 18-49, +15% among Adults 18-34, +10% among Adults 25-54 and +14% in Total Viewers.

The fifth season opener has Jack Bauer living undercover outside Los Angeles, as oil field worker “Frank Flynn.” After President David Palmer (Dennis Haysbert) is assassinated and car bombs target Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) and Michelle Dessler (Reiko Aylesworth), CTU discovers that Jack may be alive and fears he may in fact be behind Palmer’s assassination. With evidence pinning Bauer to the murders, a warrant is issued for his arrest in the second hour of this intensifying day. After a reunion with CTU tech wiz Chloe O’Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub), clues lead Jack to the Ontario airport, where Russian separatists are holding hostages. In the meantime, indecisive President Logan (Gregory Itzin) is forced to balance national security emergencies with the signing of a significant anti-terrorism treaty while conspiracy theorist and unstable First Lady Martha Logan (Jean Smart) claims she received information about the day’s unfolding events.
