Lost star Michelle Rodriguez is determined to return to Hawaii when she retires in four years' time.

The actress won't feature in the third season of the hit show, after deciding she had had enough of the grueling shooting schedule. But she fell in love with the Pacific islands while filming there and is determined to return.

Rodriguez, 27, even claims she'll be ready to retire after just a few more years of acting.

She says, "I'm going to retire there. I definitely see myself in a house on Maui in the next four years.

"I loved being in Hawaii. I feel like it's about nature and God. To walk outside my house every day and see the ocean, made me realize that it's not always about people."
