Anna Nicole Smith Baby Lands on US Soil At Last  5/2/07

Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter has landed on US soil for the first time after her newly-confirmed biological father flew her from the Bahamas to meet family members in Kentucky.

Larry Birkhead has been battling for full custody of the eight-month-old tot even since he was named the child's biological father last month (Apr07).

And after weeks of cutting through red tape and battling with baby Dannielynn's grandmother Virgie Arthur, who was keen to get her own custody issues heard in the Bahamas - where the baby was born last September (06) - Birkhead finally touched ground in Louisville, Kentucky this morning (01May07).

Birkhead and his baby were accompanied on the flight from the Bahamas to Kentucky, via Florida, by a TV news crew from US show Access Hollywood.
