Blowin Up Star Rapper Sporty-O Shot Twice  5/3/07

US rapper Sporty-O is recovering in a Georgia hospital after would-be robbers shot him in the face and leg.

The incident, which took place yesterday (02May07) near the star's East Point home, also saw two other men shot and injured.

Sporty-O - real name George Williams - collapsed as he entered his apartment after the altercation and was rushed to a local hospital by a passerby.

After undergoing surgery he was listed in stable but critical condition, according to AllHipHop.com

Sporty-O is best known for his role in Jamie Kennedy's hit TV series Blowin' Up.
