Muhammad Ali to Support Daughter on Dancing With the Stars  5/8/07

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali will make a guest appearance on US TV show Dancing With the Stars tonight (07May07) to support his daughter.

The 65-year-old former heavyweight champion plans to cheer on Laila Ali, 29, and her dancing partner Maxsim Chmerkovskiy.

And although everybody working on the ABC show is excited at the prospect of being in the presence of the sporting great, his daughter is determined not to be distracted.

Laila says, "I don't look at him as everyone else does - as 'Muhammad Ali coming to the show!' It's just dad.

"He's a fan of the show and of my dancing. I'm glad that he'll be able to come and take it all in."
