JK Rowling Brands Book Spoilers "Sad Individuals"  5/15/07

Author J.K. Rowling has slammed those who want leak details of the new Harry Potter book as "sad individuals" and "spoilsports".

The novelist has paid tribute to fans on website The Leaky Cauldron for banning spoilers about forthcoming Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - the seventh and final book in the boy wizard franchise - but chastises those who ruin the plot for the millions of avid Potter readers around the globe.

She says, "The Leaky Cauldron's mission statement on spoilers is deeply appreciated by yours truly.

"There will always be sad individuals who get their kicks from ruining other people's fun. But while sites like Leaky take a stance against them, we may yet win. I want the readers who have in many instances grown up with Harry to embark on the last adventure with him without knowing where they are going."
