Jennifer Garner Producing New Talk Show  5/18/07

Jennifer Garner is venturing into the world of talk shows - with her own TV program for mothers, by mothers.

The Elektra star gave birth to her first child, daughter Violet Anne, with husband Ben Affleck in December 2005, and is keen to share parenting tips with other mothers on her own chat show.

Garner is pitching the idea to a number of US TV networks with former So You Think You Can Dance host Lauren Sanchez-Whitesell, who will front the program.

Sanchez-Whitesell says, "It's really (Jennifer's) show and I'm the host.

"We're pitching it next week to a network. I call Jen the Barbara Walters (veteran chat show host) of the show. She will come on periodically. We haven't quite settled exactly (how often), but she's the executive producer."
