Elizabeth Hurley Fails to Pay Vicar for Wedding  5/22/07

Elizabeth Hurley's marriage to Arun Nayer has been marred by an embarrassing oversight - the pair reportedly forgot to pay the vicar who conducted their #3 million ($6 million) wedding.

The British model/actress, 41, wed Indian businessman Nayar, 43, in a private, secret civil ceremony at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire, England, earlier this year (02Mar07).

The marriage was conducted by Reverend John Partington, who asked for his fee to be paid to Winchombe's St Peter's Church in England.

But the beauty has been accused of not paying the church charity, according to British newspaper the Daily Mirror.

A close friend of the couple tells the newspaper, "Elizabeth is mortified.

She sent off a cheque a few weeks ago but it must have got lost in the post.

Obviously, she will sort this out as soon as possible."
