Jimmy Fallon Almost Missed Kentucky Derby After Frat Party  5/30/07

Actor Jimmy Fallon arrived late at the Kentucky Derby sporting a hangover earlier this month (May07), after a group of fraternity students threw an impromptu party in his honour.

The Almost Famous star and his girlfriend were heading home from a luxury bash when he jokingly asked the valets, who study at the nearby University Of Louisville, where they were partying that night.

Fallon says, "I barely made it to the Kentucky Derby because I ended up going to a frat party until five in the morning the night before.

"I went to this nice tuxedo party at a mansion and as me and my girlfriend were leaving the valets parking the cars were from a fraternity. I said, 'So where's the party at?', just joking around. They go, 'We'll have one if you come.'

"So I said, 'Well, give me the address. We'll show up.' So we ended up going to this frat house in the University Of Louisville and ended up playing beer pong until five in the morning."
