"THE NEXT BEST THING: WHO IS THE GREATEST CELEBRITY
IMPERSONATOR?" HIGHLIGHTS THE NEW YORK CITY AUDITIONS
"Episode 102" -- "The Next Best Thing: Who is the
Greatest Celebrity Impersonator?," the diabolically outrageous and
raucously entertaining new alternative series, presents celebrity
impersonator auditions from New York, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m.,
ET), on the ABC Television Network. Michele Merkin ("Foody
Call," "Extreme Dodgeball") is host.
Comedians Jeffrey Ross ("Comedy Central Roasts," "The
Aristocrats"), Lisa Ann Walter ("The Parent Trap,"
"Shall We Dance?") and Elon Gold ("Stacked,"
"Cheaper by the Dozen") use their razor sharp wit and comedic
skills as they evaluate hundreds of impersonators from Elvises to Tina
Turners to Marilyn Monroes. The judges will determine who moves on to the
semi-finals, where the contestants will perform in front of a live
audience at the famed Orpheum theatre in Los Angeles. Through a viewer
voting system, America will ultimately vote on which finalist deserves the
$100,000 grand prize and the title of The Next Best Thing.
New Wave Entertainment is a premier content development and production
enterprise and one of the entertainment industry's largest entertainment

"The Next Best Thing: Who Is the Greatest Celebrity
Impersonator?" is broadcast with Spanish subtitles via secondary
closed captioning. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to
airdate.
