John Mayer Hints Jennifer Aniston Are True 5/6/08

Rocker John Mayer has hinted that magazine reports claiming he is romancing Jennifer Aniston are true - and admits he loves the press attention he is getting as a result.

The pair was snapped embracing on a Miami, Florida beach last week (26-27May08), prompting speculation they are an item. Mayer had refused to speak out about the rumors until Monday night (05May08) - when he almost revealed all to reporters at New York's Costume Institute Gala.

The 30-year-old said of the tabloid claims, "You know what I did? I looked at it (the reports) and I said, 'That's about right.' What am I going to say, 'That's not me?'" And the former beau of fellow beauties Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Love-Hewitt has no problem being caught by crafty photographers: "Listen, this is not a scandal, this is not an issue, this is not a problem, this needs no spin control.

This is me living my life and a guy with a really powerful lens and I don't fault him. "There are much worse problems in the world. Everything's cool!"
