Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Confirm Wedding Reports 5/7/08

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have confirmed reports they are now husband and wife. The couple married in a sunset ceremony at Carey's home in the Bahamas on Wednesday (30Apr08).

Carey - who wore a traditional white gown and veil at the ceremony - has been dating Cannon since he teamed up with her in a new video. She tells People.com, "We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me."

Cannon adds, "She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside." It is the second marriage for Carey, who married Columbia Records executive Tommy Mottola in 1993. Cannon called off his engagement to model Selita Ebanks last year (07).
