Newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon served up the perfect belated 50th birthday treat for comedienne/chat show host Ellen De Generes on Saturday (11May08) when they showed up for her all-star party. Mr, and Mrs. Cannon joined other celebrity couples Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, David and Courteney Cox Arquette and Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson at the bash, held on the Warner Bros. lot in Burbank, California, where DeGeneres tapes her daily show. It was one of Carey and Cannon's first events as man and wife. The couple wed in secret at the singer's Bahamas retreat on 30 April (08). Carey will make her first TV appearance since marrying Cannon on DeGeneres' show Ellen on Tuesday (13May08). Studio bosses created a carnival for the big party, complete with a ferris wheel, bumper cars and a carousel, while Pink and top DJ Samantha Ronson provided the event's music.
