Hollywood couple Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson have put an end to rumors of their engagement after ending their on-off relationship, according to reports.

Hudson, 29, blasted rumors she was to marry to the 39-year-old actor on Monday (12May08), after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.

And now sources claim the couple has split for good, two months after rekindling their 2007 romance. The pair met on the set of 2006 movie You, Me & Dupree, as Hudson was splitting from her husband of six years, rocker Chris Robinson.

The actors first parted ways in June 2007, just two months before Wilson's alleged wrist-cutting suicide attempt. A source says, "It was a pretty bad break-up. Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."
