Pregnancy rumors swirling around Ashlee Simpson have hit fever pitch after a guest at the pop star's wedding to Pete Wentz on Saturday (17May08) revealed the couple announced they were planning a family at the nuptials.

The couple has been coy about baby talk in recent weeks, with Simpson refusing to answer pregnancy questions on a number of TV and Internet talk shows. Wentz went so far to deny the reports, but his comments have failed to impress the media.

And now U.S. TV show Entertainment Tonight claims the new couple told friends and family they were expecting a baby at the party following their nuptials.
