Michael Lohan Cashes In On Ex-Wife's Reality Show 5/27/08

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael is cashing in on his ex-wife Dina's new reality show Living Lohan - by signing a magazine deal to air his views about the program in a weekly column.

The TV show - which follows manager-mum Dina as she steers the careers of daughter Ali, 14 and her son Cody, 11 - premiered on America's E! network at the weekend (24May08). And Michael Lohan, who has opposed the show since its inception, is making sure his opinions are heard in his column for America's OK! magazine.

In the first installment of Michael's writings, he lashes out at ex-wife Dina - and admits that he is "concerned" by what he has seen so far of her parenting ethics. But he is refusing to go into much detail just now.

He says, "Well, let's see... If I were to look at things from a worldly perspective, I would probably have a lot to say about exploitation, hypocrisy and even deception - and maybe at a later date, I might just do so.

"I've had a sneak peek at some future episodes and I will say that some of the people Dina surrounds the kids with still concerns me - again, I can address that when they appear on the show."

Michael, who served time in prison in 2005 after being found guilty of driving under the influence and other charges, also urges Dina to set a positive example to their kids.

He adds, "If this show is about the being a mother and a manager, the most important thing is to set a good example by instilling positive values, and doing what's right for the kids' sake. Not for our own!"
