Hollywood star Kirsten Dunst avoided becoming a prima donna because her friends won't let fame get to her head - but they're not afraid to exploit it either.

The Spider-Man beauty confesses that she often sneaks her pals on promotional tours where they pig out on pre-paid room service.

The grounded 23-year-old says, "I think I survived because I've always gone to normal schools and always had the same girlfriends.

"I was happy being at home in the San Francisco Valley with my friends, just being normal, going to movies, walking to get French fries. I still like to do ordinary things with my friends.

"But when they come on press trips with me we'll order plenty of room service

- when someone else is paying for it and you have the opportunity to bring a girlfriend with you, it's fun."
