Pop star Ashlee Simpson is determined never to date another celebrity after her disastrous romance to singer Ryan Cabrera failed.

The Pieces of me hit maker respects her sister Jessica Simpson's marriage to former 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey, but insists she is looking for a more low key relationship.

She says, "If you fall in love with somebody, you fall in love with somebody, but I would really like to not like a celebrity.

"I think it would definitely be easier. I'm not looking for an actor, I'm not looking for a musician!"
