Oprah Winfrey cites Elizabeth Taylor as her most awkward talk show guest, because the actress banned her from asking personal questions.

Taylor later apologized to Winfrey, who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of her hugely-popular program, for her behavior.

Winfrey recalls, "She later apologized to me, because she realized it was such a painful interview. She was in a lot of pain at the time, but I didn't know that.

"I just knew she was causing me a lot of pain. And she started off saying, 'Don't ask me about my husbands or relationships.'"
