Kylie Minogue Organizes TV Special for Australian Fans  11/15/05

Cancer patient Kylie Minogue has asked for a TV special highlighting her Showgirl tour to be screened in her native Australia, after she was forced to scrap dates in the country earlier this year (05).

The Spinning Around singer shocked the world in May (05) when she cancelled the remaining dates of her world tour to undergo chemotherapy.

Despite her ongoing battle with breast cancer, kind-hearted Minogue has now selected songs for an hour-long condensed concert special to show her disappointed fans.

Frontier Touring boss Michael Gudinski says, "Kylie felt strongly that she wanted her fans to see at least part of the show.

"Even though the tour has been postponed and is yet to be rescheduled, she really felt that the fans deserved to see the full extent of it all.

"She was pretty insistent that it go on TV and I think for her to feel that strongly just shows what she's like and that she really has a very strong loyalty to fans."
