Ian Brown Credits Harry Potter For His Success  11/15/05

Former Stone Roses front man Ian Brown attributes his growing fame to a brief appearance in the third Harry Potter film.

Brown had a minor role in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and has since received more recognition as a solo star.

Sales of his hits compilation The Greatest have rocketed and he has cracked new markets in China and Australia.

He says, "Being in that film did me a big favor - it made me much bigger and more recognizable.
