Natalie Imbruglia: "Kylie Minogue's Cancer Was a Wake Up Call"  11/15/05

Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia  was spurred to make the most of her life after hearing of pal Kylie Minogue's breast cancer plight.

The pop star, a firm friend of Minogue since appearing on Australian soap Neighbors together, admits the diagnosis was a huge shock and has since made her appreciate the value of health.

And she is keen to support the Can't Get You Out of My Head hit maker to a full recovery.

Imbruglia says, "When I heard the news I sent Kylie a huge bouquet of flowers with a letter sending her my love and support.

"It's a wake-up call for everyone when something like that happens. I just hope she gets better. She needs privacy to recover. She's an amazing person and, like everyone else, I just want her to get through it."
