Baywatch Star Brooke Burns Breaks Neck  11/15/05

Former Baywatch beauty Brooke Burns has been hospitalized after breaking her neck in a swimming pool accident.

Brooke, who also hosted US TV show Dog Eat Dog, hit her head on the pool floor in her garden after a dive went horribly wrong on Friday (11NOV05).

She needed minor surgery to correct a broken bone in her neck but is expected home today (15NOV05).

Her spokeswoman, Jennifer Glassman, says, "There's no permanent damage. She will begin work as scheduled in January (06)."
