Shania Twain Joins Martha Stewart for Country Canter  11/17/05

Country star Shania Twain relaxed before she took on presenting duty at Tuesday night's (15NOV05) Country Music Association Awards by horse-riding around lifestyle queen Martha Stewart's home in upstate New York.

The new best friends filmed their Sunday (13NOV05) canter in the countryside for Stewart's daily show Martha.

Twain insisted on joining Stewart for a horseback chat because heading out on one of her eight steeds, stabled at her home in Switzerland, is one of her favorite past times.

She told Stewart, "I ride whenever I get the chance. It's a very inspiring thing for me to do - to get up and go out with nature in the back woods."
