Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe owes more than his movie career to the boy wizard - the films kept him out of school.

The young Brit is a terrible student and fears he would have been a huge flop in a conventional educational system.

Instead, he has received home tutoring for the past five years, and has excelled as a result.

He explains, "I'm one of those people for whom a conventional educational atmosphere doesn't work.

"When I was at school, I never did that well, but I love learning and I'm never going to stop learning."
