Kylie Minogue Promises Australian Tour Will Go Ahead  11/21/05

Pop beauty Kylie Minogue has assured fans her much-anticipated homecoming tour of Australia will be re-scheduled for the end of next year (06).

The Spinning Around singer was forced to cancel the shows earlier this year (MAY05) after being diagnosed with breast cancer in hometown Melbourne.  She has since undergone major surgery to remove the tumor, and promises her Showgirl: The Greatest Hits tour will go ahead as planned, albeit at a later date.

Her promoter Michael Gudinski says, "Kylie is touched that so many fans are waiting patiently. "Fans who hold onto their tickets will be part of a tour they'll never forget."
