CHILDHOOD FRIEND

BURBANK, Calif. - November 23, 2005 - In an interview with "Access
Hollywood's" Shaun Robinson, actress/singer Lindsay Lohan talks about
the childhood friend she lost to meningitis. The interview airs on
"Access Hollywood," Wednesday, November 23, 2005 (check local
listings for time and station).
Lohan, who made her American Music Awards debut on last night's
broadcast said that her performance was the farthest thing from her mind.
"I just lost one of my best friends recently," said Lohan of her
friend, Caitlin Boyle, who passed away last Wednesday from complications
stemming from meningitis.
The teen star added that she and Boyle, who was 19-years-old, were
friends long before Lohan's entry into the media spotlight. " I've
known her since I was five...I grew up with her and her family."
"Access Hollywood" would like to express the deepest sympathy
to Lohan and the entire Boyle family.
