Kate Winslet Thrilled With New Nude Scenes  11/26/05

British actress Kate Winslet is thrilled with her latest film role in Little Children because she never thought she'd look so good naked and in a revealing bathing suit.

The Titanic star admits she was more than a little concerned when she realized she'd have to disrobe for the independent film, in which she plays a terrible mother.

Not unfamiliar to appearing naked on screen, Winslet reveals her latest nude scenes terrified her because she feared her best years were behind her.

She explains, "I got very, very concerned when I was preparing for this film, because I couldn't find any head space at all.

"If you had said to me 15 years ago, `When you are nearly 30 and you've had two children, you're going to be doing some very explicit sex scenes and you're going to spend a week in a bathing suit,' I swear to God, that literally would have been my worst nightmare.

"But I got to a point where I thought, `For God's sake, screw it. I'm always gallivanting around the place, going, `Be who you are, be who you are.' I should just get over myself and get on with it, and I did.

"The bathing suit was actually a fabulous red halter neck, and I was very pleased with myself, frankly, after I got through that."
