Christina Aguilera Overwhelmed by Wedding  12/1/05

Pop star Christina Aguilera insists years of live performances in front of thousands of screaming fans did nothing to prepare her for the overwhelming feeling of getting married.

The I am Beautiful hit maker, who tied the knot with music executive Jordan Bratman in California earlier this month (19NOV05), was convinced her wealth of showbiz experience would make the ceremony easy. But on the day she found herself racked with nerves.

She says, "I've experienced a lot being in the business for such a long time and I thought my wedding would be a piece of cake.

"I'm a performer. I've done stuff like this before and I really didn't think I felt nervous.

"But when it came to the big moment, it was just so overwhelming to be marrying that one person who I so completely love and adore."
