Special Second Episode to Air After Pilot of "Day Break"  11/9/06

HOPPER ATTEMPTS TO SKIP TOWN WITH RITA TO ESCAPE THE DAY, BUT SOON DISCOVERS THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS IMPULSIVE ACTIONS, ON ABC'S "DAY BREAK"

"What If They Run" - Hopper makes the decision to take Rita and make a run for it by getting out of town in an attempt to escape the day. But he soon discovers the disastrous consequences of his rash actions, on "Day Break," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15 on the ABC Television Network.

Editors note: This episode will air with the episode entitled "Pilot" as a two-hour telecast from 9:00-11:00 p.m., ET.

"Day Break" stars Taye Diggs as Detective Brett Hopper, Moon Bloodgood as Rita Shelten, Meta Golding as Jennifer Mathis, Victoria Pratt as Andrea Battle, Ramon Rodriguez as Damien Ortiz and Adam Baldwin as Chad Shelten.

Guest starring are Mitch Pileggi as Detective Spivak, Ian Anthony Dale as Detective Choi, Bahar Soomekh as Margo, Joe Nieves as Fencik, Michael McGrady as Buchalter, Thomas Wilson Brown as grocery store deputy, Josh Daugherty as Preisser and John Antonini as uniformed cop.

"What if They Run" was written by Paul Zbyszewski and directed by Rob Bowman.

"Day Break" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.

A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
