Britney Spears First Husband Slams Kevin Federline  11/11/06

Britney Spears' first husband has lashed out at Kevin Federline, labeling him an "idiot" who spent all her money.

Alexander and Spears were childhood friends from Louisiana and tied the knot in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004, only to have the marriage annulled 55 hours later.

He tells US news show Extra, "I don't hate the guy... I think he made an idiot of himself."

When asked if he thought Federline married Spears for her money, he replied, "I don't know, the only thing he's done since they've been married is spend money."

Alexander also slams Federline attempts to gain custody of the couple's two sons, saying, "He won't get the kids... he can't take care of his first two."

Federline has two sons with Spears - Sean Preston, 14 months and Jayden James, two months - as well as two children with actress Shar Jackson - Kori, four and Kaleb, two.

Alexander admits he is still in love with Spears and made a plea to his ex-wife in the interview to contact him: "Give me a call. I'm a good guy to talk to... and I'm here for you."
