Sara Evans Invites Dancing With the Stars Pal Jerry Springer to Tour With Her  11/21/06

Publicly supporting Sara Evans through her divorce has paid off for the country star's former Dancing With the Stars pal Jerry Springer - she's taking him on tour with her.

The talk show king will show off his country music skills when Evans performs in Merrillville, Indiana on 1 December (06) - and if the show's a success there will be more dates.

Evans insists she and Springer aren't such an odd couple: "Jerry loves country music. He is a huge fan and even cut a country record so I invited him to sing at my show in Merrillville, where he'll do a couple of classic songs."

Evans was forced to pull out of competing on Dancing With The Stars last month (OCT06) after filing for divorce from husband Craig Schelske.
