Hilary Swank to Receive Emery Award  11/28/06

Hilary Swank will receive an Emery Award in New York City tomorrow (29NOV06), honoring her Oscar-winning role as a transgender teen in Boys Don't Cry.

Emery Awards are presented by the Hetrick-Martin Institute to honor support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youths aged between 12 and 21.

Whoopi Goldberg and Kimora Lee Simmons will also participate in the 20th annual awards ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Margaret Cho.
