Former Nashville Star Winner Buddy Jewell Cancels Tour Due to Broken Wrist  11/30/06

Country singer Buddy Jewell has cancelled his upcoming American tour after breaking his wrist in a fall.

The Nashville Star reality TV winner fell from a ladder while hanging Christmas lights at his Tennessee home on 19 November (06).

He had an operation last week (22NOV06) to insert a metal plate and three screws to help his left wrist heal correctly.

Jewell's 20-date Great American Country Christmas Tour was due to run from today (30NOV06) until 21 December (06).
