Pregnant Christina Aguilera will not be neglecting her career once her baby is born - she wants to be a working mother.

The 26-year-old has put an end to her wild ways and ditched her entourage since marrying music executive Jordan Bratman in 2005 - and insists the couple will be working together to ensure she will not be neglecting their child when she chooses to return to work.

She tells Glamour magazine, "I want to get (motherhood) right, to balance that well with my career. When you get married and have a team mate in life, you don't have time for the people around you that are just going to weigh you down.

"I'm all about peace and keeping people that are honest and loving in my life."
