British actor Jude Law has devastated his ex-wife by failing to attend her father's funeral.

The star was filming in Canada when Sadie Frost's 94-year-old father - great grandfather to the couple's three children - died. Law failed to attend the funeral service in Somerset, England, several days later.

And Frost is reportedly furious with Law's attitude towards his former father-in-law's death.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "The fact that Jude did not come hurt Sadie a lot, especially as it was his children who lost their great grandfather.

"Jude is making a new film, Repossession Mambo, in Canada with Forest Whitaker, but, for situations like that, she feels he should have moved mountains to come."

Law and Frost divorced in 2003 after six years together. They have three children, Rafferty, 11, Iris, seven, and Rudy, five.
