PARTY
WITH THE HOUSEWIVES ON NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE OF BRAVO'S 'THE REAL HOUSEWIVES
OF ORANGE COUNTY,' TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20 AT 10 PM ET/PT
BURBANK, Calif -- November 16, 2007- Between Tamra Barney's birthday
party for her son, Lauri Waring's extravagant wedding plans and Vicki
Gunvalson, Jeana Keough and Tammy Knickerbocker's trip to Lake Havasu, the
ladies are doing what they do best – partying -- in this week's episode
of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Tuesday,
November 20 at 10 PM ET/PT. Even the kids are off on a trip to Miami
Beach. But life isn't as carefree as it seems as money issues and a
dangerous jump threaten to spoil the fun.
Still adjusting to life without their father, Tammy's daughters, Megan
and Lindsey, join Lauri's daughter, Ashley, and George's daughter,
McKenzie, on a trip to South Beach. But they get a serious reality check
when they find out just how much money it takes to keep up with their
wealthy friends. Megan longs for the days when she could call her dad
whenever they needed money and says "it's hard to see McKenzie using
her dad's credit card and getting everything for free."
Vicki and her husband, Donn, invite Tammy and Jeana to their Lake
Havasu houseboat for the weekend. Fearing what will happen if she leaves
her son Colton at home alone, Jeana decides to bring him along. But she is
in for a rude awakening when Colton continues his destructive behavior,
culminating in a daredevil cliff jump into shallow water despite his
mother's demands for him to stop. Tammy and Jeana decide to stay at a
local hotel in Havasu and Jeana is less than thrilled with the
accommodations. "It was definitely roughing it. The sheets were like
zero thread count, the TV was only twelve inches . . .we're Orange County
spoiled."
Lauri is busy planning the wedding of her dreams. Luckily for her, she
isn't burdened by a budget. "George wants to be involved, obviously,
but he's a very busy guy. With his job, he shows up and pays the bills. He
writes the checks."
Meanwhile another party is in the works for Tamra's youngest son,
Spencer, who is turning seven. She throws him a pirate themed party and
invites everyone in the neighborhood, even blocking off the street for all
the activities. But it's a little bittersweet for Tamra when she considers
how little she was able to give her oldest son, Ryan. "The kids'
birthday parties don't even compare to the parties I had for Ryan. I often
wonder what he thinks...I'm sure he's a little resentful."
