Desperate Housewives Are Rivals Says Nicollette Sheridan's Ex-Fiancé  11/22/07

Nicollette Sheridan would fly into a rage if she didn't appear on the Desperate Housewives posters, according to her ex-fiancé Niklas Soderblom.

The 42-year-old stuntman, who has penned a book, Desperate Houseman, based on his relationship with the star, claims the actress would suffer from black moods fuelled by her rivalry with co-stars Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria and feared she would be axed from the hit TV show.

He says, "It was a competition. She was a middle-aged woman in Hollywood and deep down I am sure she sees Desperate Housewives as her last big break.

"She was devastated when the posters for the show showed the other four women, but not her. She started crying. She said she was sure the producers intended to ditch her character.

"She exploded. She screamed 'Don't you get it? Haven't you seen the posters?

Teri, Marcia, Felicity, Eva... but no Nicolette. Do you get it? No Nicolette.

They don't give a s**t about me. It's like I don't exist."
