Kimberly Stewart: "Dad Was an Embarrassment"  11/23/07

Model Kimberly Stewart was so embarrassed by the antics of her rocker father Rod when she was a child, she would pretend they weren't related.

The 28-year-old recalls being humiliated by the Maggie May hit maker when he picked her up from school wearing the colorful skin-tight costumes he wore onstage, prompting her classmates to make fun of her.

She says, "He'd turn up at the school gates driving a Lamborghini and wearing his infamous leopard-skin trousers. Other kids would tease me and it left me feeling very vulnerable.

"It got to the point where I wouldn't tell anyone my dad was Rod Stewart. I'd ask him to pick me up down the block so people wouldn't recognize him. But that never worked. Everyone knew who he was."
