JK Rowling Named Entertainer of the Year 11/24/07

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has topped a countdown naming her 2007's Entertainer Of The Year.

Rowling's achievements in the last 12 months include the release of the final Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, and the boy wizard movie series overtaking Star Wars and James Bond to become the most successful film franchise of all time.

Other celebrities named in American magazine Entertainment Weekly's list include Matt Damon, Carrie Underwood, Johnny Depp, Kanye West, Katherine Heigl, Gerard Butler and Amy Winehouse.
