Renee Zellweger Proud of Her Sobriety  11/26/07

Oscar-winning actress Renee Zellweger is proud to have retained her sanity despite the stresses of fame.

After years in the limelight and a fleeting, failed marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney, Zellweger is amazed she has stayed stable and sober.

The 38-year-old tells Harper's Bazaar, "I've been able to stay out of the psychiatric wards despite the really bizarre exchanges I have on a daily basis.

"It's weird to have fame precede you in any situation . . . and I'm proud of the fact that I've not been to Betty Ford yet."
