Rocker Avril Lavigne has delighted fans by announcing a free concert for the grand opening of a Best Buy store in her native Canada.

The Complicated hit maker will appear onstage at Swangard Stadium next month (02Dec07) for a free live performance sponsored by the electronics and entertainment chain.

It comes just months before the singer embarks on a tour of North America, slated to begin in March next year (08).
