Daniel Radcliffe's Soap Hopes 11/26/07

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is desperate to land his dream role - a part in long-running British soap opera Coronation Street.

The 18-year-old is a huge fan of the TV series, based on the lives of residents in a fictional town in Manchester, England.

He says, "I love Corrie. Being in that would be fun."

A spokesman for the show says, "We would love to have him."
