The Police to Headline Isle of Wight Festival 11/26/07 Veteran rockers The Police are set to follow in the footsteps of The Rolling Stones by headlining one of U.K.'s biggest music festivals. The newly-reformed group will close England's three-day Isle Of Wight Festival on 15 June (08) - their only U.K. festival show next year. John Giddings, the event's promoter, says, "It's a coup to get The Police for the festival. "We're very happy to have the biggest tour of the last two years stopping by the Isle of Wight."
