Dion to Throw Canadian Spice Girls Party

Singer Celine Dion is set to throw a party for the Spice Girls when the
band visit her native Canada at the weekend (1-2Dec07).
The My Heart Will Go On star is hoping to host a celebration in
Vancouver to support the band's reunion tour which kicks off in the city
on Sunday (2Dec07).
Dion, 39, reportedly wants to include traditional Canadian elements in
the bash which will be held for the girls as well as their friends and
family.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Celine is so
thrilled the Spice Girls have chosen her home country to kick off their
tour that's she's organizing some plush hospitality to welcome them to
Vancouver.
"Backstage at The General Motors Place - the stadium where the
concert will take place - Celine is arranging a huge soiree. There will be
Canadian flags and red and white bunting."
