Madonna Dedicates Election Night Concert To Obama 11/5/08

Madonna dedicated her concert in San Diego, California on Tuesday (04Nov08) night to America's next president Barack Obama.

As Democrat Obama celebrated victory over Republican rival John McCain, Madonna took to the stage at the city's Petco Park.

But the Obama supporter took the opportunity to mark the occasion - by celebrating the result with her fans.

As a giant picture of the 47-year-old politician appeared behind her on the stage, Madonna yelled to fans, "This is a historical evening. This is a motherf**king important evening. This is the beginning of a whole new world."
