RUSSELL GOES FISHING IN ORDER TO CATCH ONE OF THE MYSTERIOUS, ORANGE LUMINESCENT BEINGS, AND A FRIEND OF KIRA'S SETS HIS SIGHTS ON HER STEPMOTHER, MARIEL, ON ABC'S "INVASION"

"The Hunt" - After finding an old Cuban refugee on the water who has lost his family to "the lights," Russell decides to go fishing to catch one of the mysterious, orange luminescent beings. Meanwhile, a transformed Derek begins to lose interest in Kira and directs his sights on stepmother Mariel - incurring the wrath of Sheriff Underlay -- on "Invasion," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Invasion" stars William Fichtner as Sheriff Tom Underlay, Eddie Cibrian as Russell Varon, Lisa Sheridan as Larkin Groves, Kari Matchett as Dr. Mariel Underlay, Tyler Labine as Dave Groves, Evan Peters as Jesse Varon, Ariel Gade as Rose Varon, Alexis Dziena as Kira Underlay and Aisha Hinds as Mona Gomez.

Guest starring are Nathan Baesel as Sirk, Matt Ross as Vince Teracoma, Sylva Kelegian as Lucy McKittrick, Ivar Brogger as Father Scanlon, Veronica Cartwright as Valerie Shenkman, Jake Richardson as Gage, Stephen Lee as Carl McKittrick, Michael Mitchell as Derek Culie, Robert Dickenson as newscaster, Jake Eberle as man, Alexis Ryan as woman, Saida Rodriguez Pagan as newscaster no. 1, Reggie Jordan as newscaster no. 2 and Matt Sigloch as MP.

"The Hunt" was written by Becky Hartman Edwards & Shaun Cassidy and directed by Lawrence Trilling.

"Invasion" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound and Spanish subtitles via secondary closed captioning.

A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to airdate.
